Yoel is originally from Vina del mar, Chile, where he trained as a Speech-Language Pathologist. He has over eight years of experience working with voice and swallowing disorders in Chile and Canada.

 

His goal is to advance in the development of open-source therapy apps for those who can't afford them or live remotely.

 

Outside of the clinic, Yoel loves playing music, fixings things at home, spending time camping or laying on the beach. Most of his time though, is dedicated to raising his two daughters and cleaning up after them.
