Alicia grew up in the small town of Carmacks in the Yukon Territory of Canada. She is a citizen of the LSCFN (Little Salmon Carmacks First Nation) and has delved into her culture throughout her life. As a child, Alicia loved spending time and learning on the land.

 

Through her education and volunteering experiences, Alicia discovered her passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow. She finds it incredibly rewarding to see the progress and development of young minds as they explore the world around them.

 

Today, Alicia continues to pursue her love for working with children as a Therapy Assistant with Boreal Clinic as well as through various activities, including volunteering at the local recreation centre and community events.

Alicia's upbringing in Carmacks taught her the importance of community, and she strives to make a positive impact on the lives of those around her.
