Helena grew up in Nelson BC. She graduated from the UBC School of Audiology and Speech Sciences in 2018. After finishing her degree, Helena worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist (S-LP) at the Fort St. John Child Development Centre before moving to Boreal Clinic. This gave her the opportunity to develop her S-LP skills in early intervention, while learning holistically from an interprofessional team. For Helena, communication is all about connecting with others. She is passionate about working in partnership with her clients and their families. In her spare time, you can find Helena exploring the outdoors with her partner Kyle, doing yoga, or drinking coffee.

Helena is certified to offer It Takes Two to Talk® -The Hanen Program® for Parents of Children with Language Delays. She has also completed the introductory course for the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) to support young children with Autism and their families.
