Hello, 

My name is Marie Kormos, 

I am thrilled to join the team at Boreal as an auxiliary Therapy Assistant.  

I am motivated to expand my knowledge of DIR Floortime and Augmentative Alternative Communication.  I graduated with a Diploma in Child and Youth Care in Winnipeg Manitoba in 2005.  Shortly after graduation I started working as an Educational Assistant for the Winnipeg School Division. I have over 17 years of experience working with children and youth in various settings, who have been impacted by trauma or are neurodiverse. I fell in love with the Yukon summer of 2008 and my family relocated in 2017. I spent most of my childhood in remote northern Manitoba. I love the scenery and wilderness here.  I enjoy spending time camping, biking, hiking and fishing with my family and large extended family here.  I’m currently working as an Educational Assistant in a Whitehorse elementary school. I’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge and learning more with Boreal Clinic.
