DANIELLE FAULKNER

Danielle Faulkner is a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist offering her support across the Yukon over the past three years. Danielle grew up in Lethbridge, Alberta and completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Lethbridge in Psychology and then continued on to the University of Alberta in Edmonton where she received her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

With a commitment to evidence-based practice, Danielle participates in various courses and workshops to expand her skill set. Previous training includes, Hanen's Learning Language and Loving it, First Nations 101, Trauma-Informed Care and Vicarious Trauma, Meaningful Speech, and the Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile. Danielle has experience working with children and adults, has offered coaching to families, and has provided communication group programming. Danielle believes in person-first, family-centered care and works to foster a judgment-free, safe space for families. 

Outside of her profession, Danielle finds balance through yoga and expresses her creativity through embroidery. She enjoys quality time with her partner, often binging their favourite TV shows or taking long walks with their beloved dog, Sky.
