Erika loves teaching students how to read and inspiring a love of stories. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Saskatchewan. Erika believes in an instructional approach that is evidence-based, inclusive, culturally responsive, and personalized. Erika loves to learn and is always striving to become better at supporting students with their learning goals.

 

Erika moved to Whitehorse in 2023 with her family. She also lives with two dogs, a Green Cheeked Conure and a Ball Python. She loves nature, reading and making things.
