• Language development of school aged children and the impact a language disorder may have on everyday communication, literacy and academics. 

• Assistive Technology (including alternative and augmentative communication) cation) to support students in schools.

• Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Alberta 

• Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Western Ontario

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Lambton College

Personal:

• I was born in Ontario and moved to Alberta for 5 years in 1990. In 1995 I moved to the Yukon with my husband and kids, and started working for Boreal Clinic in 2023. ​

• ​When not at work, you can find me on the water with my kayak or paddle board - often accompanied by my dog. I also love camping, travelling and have been a quilter for 30 years.
