Erin has chosen the Yukon as home, but originally hails from the lovely (if quite flat) province of Manitoba. Though Erin has spent the past six years working as an Early Childhood Educator, and for Parks Canada as a Heritage Interpreter, her background and training are in Education.
After completing her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Winnipeg, Erin relocated to the East Coast to complete a Bachelor's degree in Education at the University of Prince Edward Island. It was there that her love for language learning began to truly develop. This led to teaching positions (Kindergarten and Grade Four) in Flin Flon, Manitoba, and eventually all the way to the Yukon.
Currently Erin is enrolled at Medicine Hat College working on her Speech Language Pathologist Assistant diploma via distance learning, and is very excited to be on this journey. Her hobbies and loves are writing, gardening, baking, hiking and being in nature with her family.
